ITS TIME! THE OLYMPICS ARE HERE!
I love watching the Olympics events with my family. We stary up late and watch some of theut events and get up early to watch other events. I usually curl up and watch wrapped up in my USA “STAR SPANGLED BLANKET, but now have the perfect blanket, my OLYMPIC CHALLENGE BLANKET! I called this blanket Olympic Challenge I challenged for two reasons. 1. I wanted to challenge myself to make an Olympic Themed Blanket before the start of the Olympics, DONE!. 2. Many knitters like to challenge themselves to knit something from beginning to end during the Olympics, starting at the beginning of the events, and ending before at the closing ceremonies. Knitting this blanket would be the perfect challenge! Hope you all take the challenge and start knitting!
Kit Includes pattern, 4 Full Skeins of Berroco Macro, 2 Half Skeins, and 2 Quarter skeins.
US #17, 32” needles, US#17, 24” or 2-US#17 double point needles (for I-Cord technique used on the Olympic Rings)
