Dear customers and friends,
After many wonderful years of serving the knitting community in the tri-valley, I’m writing to share some important news about Knit This, Purl That. The physical store and on-line yarn shop will be changing ownership and location. But please know this is not a goodbye, as I will continue to work and help out in the new location, providing guidance and advice for the new owner. I will also continue to teach classes, provide private assistance, and be active as a designer. So yes – you’ll still see me, and I look forward to continuing to work with all of you.
I’m thrilled that the heart of our knitting and crochet community will carry on. The shop will be purchased by Sanjani Ramkissoon, a longtime customer, fellow fiber enthusiast, and someone whose warmth, energy, and creativity I deeply admire. All the great yarn, needles, and accessories you’ve come to expect at Knit This, Purl That, will continue to be available, alongside delightful new additions.
The name and location of the shop will change, but it will remain in Livermore in a convenient location. Most importantly, the spirit of inspiration, connection, and warmth will remain. I am incredibly happy that the new owner will continue the legacy of support, friendship, and of course, great yarn.
She is excited to introduce herself and meet you all during the Golden State Yarn Crawl, which starts June 19th. In the meantime, she’s been busy behind the scenes getting everything ready in the new space – and I know you will love what she’s creating.
The last day for the Knit This, Purl That store will be Saturday, June 28th. Because of the change in legal entity and terms of the business transfer, please make sure you use any Knit This, Purl That gift certificates or credit balances on or before this date. They will not be accepted at the new location.
The new location is expected to be open in mid-summer, and we will also be announcing some special events and outdoor summer activities in the interim, so keep an eye on your email and the website for announcements.
