I started designing this pattern when I heard of the terrible tragedy in Orlando. My heart went out to the families of these individuals who were injured and lost their lives. Many of them were the age of my three sons. I can’t imagine the pain that these parents are going through. Such a senseless tragedy.
The creating of this shawl kit is my way of letting the families know that I hurt for them and I want to help.
A Portion of the proceeds of this shawl kit will be donated to the Pulse Tragedy Community Fund for the victims and their families.
