Cirilia Rose, the Nuss is a basic cardigan with a gently flared shape. An easily memorized lace pattern decorates the fluted bottom. Finished with crochet and a cluster of buttons. This was the first Sweater Class Sandy took and she is so excited to share this pattern with everyone!
What you will learn: You will learn to knit a bottom up sweater, an easy lace pattern, backward crocheted edging, gauge testing, set-in sleeves, and blocking techniques.
Class supplies needed:
- Yarn and Pattern available in Kit #222
- Knitting Needle in size 6, 7, 8, and 9 to test the qauge, Once you have the right needle size, only one set of needles will be necessary. Some shop needles will be available if you do not have all sizes.
- Size G or H crochet hook and basic knitting supplies: Scissors, darning needle, locking stitch markers.
- Notepad and pen or pencil for taking notes.
- Highlighter marker for marking sizes.
Prerequisite: Students must be proficient Basic Knitting, Purling and Yarn Overs.
Homework: Purchase kit 222, and bring or purchase other materials. Have yarn wound before class.
