What you will learn: How to knit in the round, create a mock cable and tassels
Prerequisite: You must be proficient in basic knitting skills: knitting, purling, binding off, casting on.
Materials needed: Purchase the “Stevenbe Tassled Slouch and Cowl” by Stevenbe on Ravelry.com for $7, or at Knit This, Purl That. Approximately 380 yards of fingering weight yarn, US size 2 & 5, 16” circular needles, and stitch markers.
Homework: Using smaller needles, cast on 132 stitches. Join in the round, being careful not to twist. Knit first three rows of rib pattern (K2, P2).*** Please note that all yarn must be purchased at Knit This Purl That! 10 % off supplies for all classes.
