Description: It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas! Especially if you show up to your Holiday Event wearing this fun fast Santa Hat. Made in Cascade 128 Superwash Yarn, held double for more bulk and speed.
Prerequisite: Students must be proficient in Basic Knitting techiques, including increases and decreases, knitting in the round and using double point needles.
Kit #58 includes Yarn and Pattern: 2 skeins of Cascade Superwash 128 or Plymouth in Chunky in White and Red
What you will learn: How to create Bulky yarn from Chunky Yarn, and How to make a pompom from a pompom maker you will create in class
Other Materials Needed: US 15 needles in 16” circular and a pack of double point needles, Large Darning Needle, scissors, large round stitch marker.
Homework: Have yarn wound in 4 equal balls prior to the beginning of class. ( If yarn is wound, you will be pulling from the inside and out to create bulky yarn. )
